I started watching this show mainly because I liked Lea Thompson's performances in 'Back To The Future' and the classic John Hughes film 'Some Kind Of Wonderful', but I thoroughly enjoyed her in this sitcom which sadly never got the praise it deserved.
This is a very good pilot. It's funny, it's cleverly written, and it perfectly introduces all the major characters - all of which is vital in a pilot.
They don't make shows like this anymore, which is a great shame, because this was great.
