A really nice guy hangs around the bar, hoping for a relationship with Carla. He seems like the perfect one for her, but she is so paranoid that she pushes him aside. When things finally happen, a secret is revealed. There are some funny moments, like Norm having to ration beer when Sam raises the prices on a glass. Still, not terribly memorable for me.

A bit melancholy, but as always some funny bits

For all her bravado, Carla is not exactly lucky in love. So when she meets a decent guy who actually likes her, she balks. There's got to be something wrong with him, right?
This episode has a nice balance between sweet and funny, with the only real subplot being Norm fretting over his beer budget. As always, most of the regulars have at least one funny scene, with one of the highlights being Sam and Diane's tortured attempt to get Hank's terrible secret out of Coach ("Will you forget about Lefty?").
It's all fairly bittersweet, and for some reason this feels more like a Taxi episode than a Cheers episode. There's enough silliness to cut through the sentiment, but this one is a bit downbeat.

A guy who comes to the bar really likes Carla. She resists to go out with him because she is sure that something must be wrong with him. But Sam convinces her to do it. It works great and one day they want to go and have sex but coach tells in the bar that the guy has a heart condition and Sam and Diane go to prevent a disaster from happening.
I loved this episode! Too bad there was no happy ending but all the moments made it hilarious. Carla being mad at him when he flirts with her, kicking Sam, go out with him first and make all the checking on how crazy that is and as well as Sam and Diane at the bedroom door before Carla and the guy come in. Carla was at her best in this episode.
