Two Workouts

Same meets a beautiful young, athletic woman and then overuses his tired body to impress her. He cycles, climbs, swims, runs, on and on, until there is little left of him. The other plot involves Rebecca using Norms modest painting abilities as a springboard to her promotional skills. This one has a particularly fun ending.

Norm didn't have a job for a long time so Rebecca decides to do marketing for him and doesn't take "no" for an answer. He gets an assignment and Rebecca i so excited she wants to go and quit her current job. but Norm gets a call that the job was cancelled. He runs to warn Rebecca. But she does it anyways and gets promoted only unfortunately before it gets official the guy who promoted her gets taken by the FBI.

It is nice to see Rebecca and Norm work together. Even though her chameleon picture looked pretty bad she had a good idea .Also liked to see Rebecca so confident at the end, even though it didn't work out for her. But I would like to see her character like this more often

Warning: Spoilers
Let's call this the third episode in the Norm/Rebecca Painting Saga, the first two being "Paint Your Office" and "Let Sleeping Drakes Lie." This installment finds Rebecca channeling all her frustrated corporate energy into Norm's dysfunctional house-painting business. She gets so high from their limited success that she heads to the corporate bosses to quit.

Meanwhile Sam hooks up with Erin, a young blond whose very existence revolves around strenuous physical exercise. There a few odd moments in this sub-plot as some of Sam's lines are over-dubbed and nonsensical, most notably:

"Alright I'm meeting Erin for some jogging"

AND

"I think I'll ease into a bubble bath... or a wheelchair"

I'm not sure what went wrong in the direction or editing that required these sloppy overdubs, but there you go.

Kirstie Alley really shines here as a comedic lead... she is full of energy and original deliveries, and it's nice to see the Rebecca character finally tasting some success.

"He's nude, sir... BUCK NAKED."

GRADE: A
