I Call Your Name (#3.3)

Warning: Spoilers
Diane is in a bad mood and soon Sam find out why. Frasier comes to the bar and tells him about his client whose girlfriend yelled out a name of an ex boyfriend in bed. Sam knows that Frasier talks about him and Diane. And he uses it to bug Diane. The three of them have a conversation and work it out.

Well a good episode already because Diane is less annoying than Sam in this episode. And I loved the final scene where she has a bit of revenge on him, well done!.

The story of Cliff being afraid of the guy he got fired was very amusing as well.

What's in a Name
Hitchcoc15 August 2019
Frasier comes to see Sam to describe an event that he fictionalizes. It is obvious that Diane said Sam's name during sex, and Frasier is having trouble with the event. While this is going on, Cliff blows the whistle on a fellow postman who took a perfume sample out of a magazine--the result is his firing. Cliff again proves himself to be a nightmare in the workplace. He will have to face off against the guy he attacked.

Two Solid Stories
dgplatt-6012112 March 2024
The titular plot is yet another Sam and Diane story, but it's also in a way a Sam and Frasier story. It's puzzling why Frasier would go to Sam with his problem, considering that Sam is partly the cause of it. Perhaps he's looking for reassurance that Sam doesn't carry a torch for Diane? That may be part of it, but Frasier, doggone it, just values Sam's friendship. Of course, when Sam finds out the truth, he's insufferable towards Diane, who in the end turns the tables on Sam.

The other plot heralds the return of Lewis, Cliff's coworker. When Cliff spies Lewis taking a cologne sample from a magazine, he's presented with a dillemma. Cliff's dogged adherence to the rules competes with his cowardice. Lewis is always funny, and Cliff's attempts to weasel his way out of this are quite amusing as well.
