Brownie Troop?

Sam plays in a charity baseball game against a team of Playboy bunnies. He strikes all of them out and Diane points out his insane competitiveness. This is one of those episodes, rife with some funny lines. One question I have is, "What happened to Norm's mother-in-law?

Sam Vs. Diane Vs. Competitiveness
dgplatt-6012121 March 2024
This is yet another attempt to recapture the magic of Season One, and it's only moderately successful. It's mostly a S & D episode with a very tenuous premise: Sam's competitiveness wins out over his horniness.

We begin with a throwback as Coach buys something useless for the bar. There's some cute interplay with Sam and Coach ("Satisfaction guaranteed." "Or what?" "Gee, I forgot to ask.") but it's mostly just a set up for the ping pong match at the end.

Sam pitches in a charity softball game against a bevy of Playboy Bunnies (the most gratuitous guest star spot until the final two seasons). Sam lets his desire to win beat out his desire to court them, and Diane lords it over him. As always there's a few funny lines but this is just treading water.

King of the Hill (#3.15)

Warning: Spoilers
Sam agrees to play in a charity baseball game. Everyone is surprised but it turns out that the opposing team are the Playboy Playmates and he is having a great time with it! Only during the game he beats them without caring that he makes them mad and won't be able to sleep with them. Diane confronts him about his over competitiveness. But Sam brings it up that she is very competitive as well and they end up playing ping pong the whole day.

Not a bad episode. Only it seems to me that Diane would be competitive in different areas than Sam. Coach with his table that he bought was very fun as well
