- Quotes
Cliff Clavin: [about Norm's lying about a sexual conquest] Boy what a pathetic display. I'm ashamed God made me a man.
Carla Tortelli: I don't think God's doing a lot of bragging about it either.

The Last Temptation Of Norm
One of the longest running mysteries of this show (along with "Why were there two Garys?") is: just what is the deal with Norm and Vera's marriage? Are they high school sweethearts who lost interest in each other? Does Norm just not like sex? Or maybe he actually (gulp) loves Vera? This episode offers an answer, sort of.
Norm is courting a new client who just happens to be an attractive single woman. Everyone at the bar is convinced she's interested in Norm, and most want him to act on this. Diane, of course, is appalled, while Sam cautions Norm against giving in to pressure from the guys.
So does Norm really love Vera? It's not much of spoiler to say "maybe." With a couple exceptions, this episode is probably the closest we'll ever get to a realistic depiction of their marriage. Nevertheless, this is a pretty funny one.
