This was a pretty good episode if you can overlook a few oddities. First of all, this is Africa, and not the city - but the middle of a rural area. You would expect the natives to speak their own language and not English so well, but for the most part they all speak perfect English and can even understand American slang! I think that's a big blunder to the overall show.
Second, we were amazed when Chuck Connors fired his rifle rapidly from the hip and killed the bad guys in The Rifleman. But now we see him fight a lion...er...what looks to be a lion, but it sure does look fake (maybe not as fake as his infamous bear, but still...) In real life, the lion would have would have devoured both men and killed them, but both wrestled with the lion and came away with very few injures. Only on TV!
