Over The Top But Funny

I thought at least one of the many couples who invaded the party for Mr. Purty at the Mitchell house would ask a few questions about the house and not just flop down on the chairs and eat. Dub Taylor and his wife were pretty funny and thought it was a party but what were they doing so far from the Hooterville? She did help with the punch. Good thing she didn't find the liquor. Loved an early appearance of Joe Conley (later a regular on The Waltons) as a beatnik looking for a place to crash.

Dennis did take one of Mr. Wilson's rare coins which started a quarrel between Purty and Wilson. Dennis never got reprimanded for stealing. I'm surprised someone didn't ask who invited them and not just let it go especially that old guy measuring the fireplace. All worked out well and they all had a good laugh even Mitchell. Funny seeing Dennis in a suit for a change and Ike Godsey fell asleep upstairs. Crazy!

Too much

Even for Dennis the Menace, this episode is just too ridiculous. Very annoying.
