This episode begins like "Das Mädchen in Jeans" !! Someone wants to kill somebody by poisining (chocolate or candies) and an innocent person dies.As Beate Schill lives in a boarding house Derrick thinks that a boarder may be the responsible for this murder attempt against Beate.So Derrick decides to send Harry to the boarding house as undercover to investigate the case: Beate Schill knows about this and will colaborate with Harry to find the responsible of the poissoning. Harry observes everyone in the boarding house and makes reports to Derrick.The investigation goes slowly and Derrick must find a stratagem to find the murder.
The performance of Helga Anders as Beate Schill is quite good.
Kaffee mit Beate is one of the best episodes of the Derrick serie.
