Charles Nelson Reilly!

Warning: Spoilers
In spite of the veteran Broadway actor and game show panelist play himself, this episode is pretty unmemorable because it just simply isn't funny and the premise just doesn't work. Alison has apparently invested in a student film, and gets round trip tickets for the rest of the girls and Anthony where they are to stay with Reilly at his Beverly Hills mansion. Of course the veteran funny man doesn't know about any of this, and is about to call the police when they tell him what happened. This is one episode where Bernice should have been present because it would have been classic comedy to see Alice Ghostley and Reilly working together. A reference to Hollywood Squares by Karlene is calling for a Paul Lynde reference from Reilly but it doesn't go there, as I guess Riley did work with Charlie Weaver when he appeared on Hollywood Squares after Match Game was canceled and Lynde passed away. You do get to hear his famous laugh though, something he had stopped doing in his rare acting roles after Match Game was canceled. It's obvious that they were stretching floor ideas by this point, and it's one of the few times where you feel sorry for Alison because of how she was fleeced along with othes investors.
