"Cough your guts out! It works every time."
ShadeGrenade5 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
With Paul in tow, Upton goes home for a few days. On the train, he meets Mrs.Bentinck, a middle-aged, independently wealthy woman with a varicose vein problem. Her own G.P. has apparently ruled out an operation. Upton tells her to ignore the silly old quack and have the operation anyway. Arrivng at the Upton's house, Mike is appalled when Mrs.Bentinck turns out to be one of his father's own patients...

After a run of six fine episodes, 'Trains' is something of a disappointment. Nothing very much happens; its hard to care whether Mrs.Bentinck has her operation or not.

Jean Kent was a leading star of British films of the '50's; she's also to be seen in a 'Steptoe & Son' episode entitled 'Two's Company'.

The distinctive title sequence employed on the earlier episodes was dropped.

Funniest moment - Upton examining Mrs.Bentinck's legs, only for Paul to interrupt and jump to the wrong conclusion.
