"Yes sir, we have no cadavers!"

Warning: Spoilers
The next three episodes form a kind of trilogy, in which Bingham finally ties the knot.

Stuart-Clark has been heavily losing money through gambling. Keen to break his streak of bad luck, he bets Waring he cannot spend a night alone in the hospital mortuary. The mortician - the gloomy 'Wally Cadaver' - locks Duncan in for the night before retiring.

But Duncan is not as alone as he thinks. Apart from the corpses on the cold slab, he has company. Dick and Bingham have joined forces to ensure that before the night is out Duncan will be scared out of his wits...

A screamingly funny ( if somehat morbid ) episode by Bernard McKenna and Graham Chapman. Great to see Dick and Bingham working as a team again. The last time this happened was in the 'At Large' episode 'A Joke's A Joke'. As before its Lawrence who makes a mess of things, this time by ( unconvincingly ) pretending to be a ghost. Duncan laughs as he recognises a repeat of Bingham's performance in the St. Swithins' version of 'Hamlet'.

Helen Fraser had previously been seen as 'Rigor Mortis' in the 'In The House' story 'Getting The Bird'. Here she makes her debut as the man-hungry 'Dr. Mary Parsons'. She and Duncan once had a fling ( he fled to America to escape from her ), and she is keen to repeat the experience, but he doesn't want to know. Bingham has his beady eye on her.

'Wally Cadaver' is played by John Tordoff, whose other roles include incompetent policeman/private eye 'Tofkin' in 'Citizen Smith'.

Funniest moments - Bingham proposing to Mary in the morgue, before accidentally slipping the ring onto the finger of Mr. Runcorn ( Deceased ), and Dick clumping hobnailed boots against a wall to make Duncan think the dead has arisen.
