Truly a difficult ep for me
MiketheWhistle23 September 2018
This ep is filled with great sorrow and having lost a baby myself and due to outside forces versus just happening, my heart broke too. It also shows the great sorrow of the Indians caused by corrupt government officials who solely desired to become rich at the cost of others' lives. It also presents what become a horrible social ill of Native Americans that they had to endure including great Americans such as Ira Hayes who was one of the raisers of the Iwo Jima flag as a brave Marine. And lest we forget the brave Apache wind talkers.

reflection of present
Kirpianuscus26 August 2021
It is one of the uncomfortable episodes about present. Because you recognize each familiar aspect, from the essence of profit to the cold, cynical politics of goverment - and demitization of Ulysses Grant - , from alcohol terrible effect as refuge to the lost of baby as result of kindness and solidarity. In same measure, the best part remains the beautiful idealism of Sully and his confession about help from herokee in difficult period for him. As last episode of Erika Flores it becomes more sad but the splendid couple created by Tatoo Cardinal and. Larry Sellers remains a precious gift.

Resident Stupid Asses

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, I get that the characters of Hank and Jake and Loren are merely portraying stereotypical small-minded bigots and hypocrites of the day but no matter how many times they're forced to eat humble pie, they never learn a single solitary thing. It's wearing thin. More time should be spent on Native American teachings than having Dr Mike tend to alcohol poisoning and starvation deaths. He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it. And as for Colleen leaving the show, she is not that good of an actress anyway. Getting shrill does not imbue one's lines with passion. It only makes the audience hit the mute button on the remote.
