One of the better episodes for the final season.

Warning: Spoilers
Usually the forth or fifth season of a series is the final season for most t v series. The writing material, story lines, character development gets tapped out after 3 seasons for most shows. Much like Star wars and James Bond series the viewers begs please stop not another one! I just can not watch this formulate garbage. The fourth season of the Equalizer was starting to run out of steam, and Woodward was looking worn out in the final year. Endgame took some material out of an old show called the Naturalize staring a younger Woodward with a game master story and give Endgame a spark. Endgame with the new material gave some extra life with The Equalizers matched again the games master. Endgame starts out with a paint ball game which turn deadly. Thus the game begin. The viewer experience a games which involve a frame, family drama and plot twists. Written and directed well, was the launching pad for Woodward to shine. There is a very Equalizer ending which is great for one of the series final episodes . 7 stars.

This isn't just the best episode of the show

This isn't just the best episode of the show, but one of the best episodes I've ever seen or ANY show. Sure, some parts are dated, but the format transcends the limitations through acting and story-telling. None of the characters are the usual 2-dimensional card-board cut-outs. The characters all have depth, history, and motivations that come out naturally. Everyone is believable. It would be very easy to make a full 2-hour movie from this story, where-as several previous ones feel bloated with filler. Sadly, this is not a typical episode, but then, it wouldn't be so outstanding if it were.
