The spy who kinda came in from the cold.

Richard Kiley plays John Streyer, a man who betrayed the US 15 years ago. However, life in East Germany was not the paradise he'd hoped and now, disillusioned, he's decided to try sneaking back into the United States. Arthur Ward joins Erskine on the case because Ward is very familiar with Streyer--and he investigated the case when Streyer first defected. So, it's up to the FBI to try to find Streyer before his communist 'friends' find him....and liquidate him.

As I've said before, the espionage episodes of "The F.B.I." tend to be some of the better ones. I liked this one because it was different...a defector who is weary and has had enough and just wants it all to end. Well worth seeing and quite interesting.
