Stone makes this one really enjoyable.

After the retirement of mobster 'Inky' Cober, two of his sons are now in charge of his numbers racket. Terry (Don Gordon) is the impulsive son and his answer to another mobster trying to horn in on the business is to use muscle. To teach the other mob a lesson, Terry blows up the garage of the leader's home...and soon an all-out war is brewing between the two mobs. But the leadership of the Cosa Nostra is upset, as such beefs are supposed to go to them...not be dealt with this way. In the midst of escalating violence, the FBI is there to try to calm things, if possible, and take advantage of the animosity if possible.

This episode is helped by having Harold Stone playing the family patriarch. He was wonderful at playing angry guys and dirt-bags...and here he's really terrific. I might have scored this one a 9, but the ending left me flat, as two of the Cobers behaved in ways that really seemed out of character in this final confrontation. See it...see what I mean.
