Warning: Spoilers
Some time after the end of the first season Crichton and D'Argo are on an abandoned mining asteroid after being rescued by Aeryn and the rest of the crew are back on Moya who is planning to return to the asteroid field to search for her son. We soon learn that Aeryn is working with Crais; although his motives remain suspicious. When Crichton and D'Argo learn that Aeryn has been working with Crais they are not pleased; even though that collaboration saved their lives... D'Argo incapacitates her and Crichton heads to Talyn where he manages to capture Crais. He takes him to Moya and soon everybody is reunited once more. This isn't the case for long though as Talyn starts to head out of the field alone; with Scorpius' command carrier approaching Crais and Aeryn return to Talyn so he can select the captain he needs.

This, while not the intended season opener, does the job well; quickly establishing where everybody is and setting things up to get everybody back where they belong on Moya. The change of episode order does leave one anomaly though; reference is made to Zhaan's trail which is something we have yet to see! It was enjoyably trying to work out whether Crais was still loyal to the Peacekeepers or whether he could now be trusted. It is clear that Scorpius will be the primary villain from now on; his obsession with wormhole technology means that he will continue to pursue Crichton until he catches him or one of them is dead! The episode's story isn't one of the strongest but it served its purpose of getting the crew back together and establishing the new role for Crais and Talyn; I'm certainly looking forward to the rest of this season.
