Slow Start.....But Necessary
filmbuff197414 December 2006
I just saw this episode again after more than six years. It seemed to begin slowly but it was necessary to set everything up.We are introduced to Cade Foster. He is a security system salesman who finds his present life has been destroyed by some anonymous source which he investigates and opens a Pandora's's box that is far more than he could imagine.

I'll leave it there because I wouldn't want to destroy the suspense of anyone coming to this series for the first time.I will say this, stick with it because the episodes get better and you are drawn into it.It seems the nineties had these amazing conspiracy series such as the X-Files and No Where Man.First Wave is in that vein.Exciting fun awaits the newcomers to this series.

Insightful series from director of the godfather

The best sci fi series in history sadly received little attention from viewers as the sci fi market was heavily saturated during the years this series was released. No other series explores the dangers of science without the constraint of ethic like this series does though the viewer has to have some level of intelligence to understand the subtle themes behind each episode .... Probably why it failed . The writers choose not to dumb down the content in order to get a larger audience and it was a good decision be because like the godfather the characters stay with you in a way that is unforgettable
