Michelle saves the world

Warning: Spoilers
This episode starts off with a bad dog joke which get's fake studio laugher, awesome. Next we see that Stephanie and her gal pals are starting a band. They want to play generic 90's pop music, Ace of Base will work. Snooping Uncle Jessie get's wind of this, and thinks, hey I play drums for the beach boys, I should be their manager. The girls agree to have Jesse become their manager, big mistake, he's a jerk. The girls seem to get the corny Ace of Base song down pretty well, as it's a pre-recored track. Uncle Jesse ain't having it. He thinks the girls stink and need to keep working on their terrible song. The girls disagree and go to the mall, but not without saying Jesse's hair was pretty good, have mercy indeed. Anyway, Michelle becomes her two friends manager for some reason as well. Danny and Joey invest in the stock market because DJ is doing homework. Flash forward to the big show at the all ages bar where kids and adults party together. Michelle's friends kick butt and Stephanie's band do terrible because they fired Jesse, that's the message, don't fire a for hire Beach Boy.

Awesome and Honest.

There are many components that make a musician great. This episode is about image over sound, something all-too popular today.

Stephanie and Gia are learning the guitar and bass, respectively. They decide to start a band. One of their beautiful classmates is recruited on drums and Kimmy takes the keyboard. The band is called "Girl Talk" and are invited by Danny and Becky to partake in their show's talent competition. Jesse is their manager and knows that they need to keep at it until it sounds perfect. But the girls, after one semi-decent play, decide they don't need to practice anymore any work on their image.

Danny and Joey use DJ's homework to play the stock market. Brief, but cute.

The music and the theme are both excellent. "Girl Talk" doing the Ace Of Base hit is both good and funny when they mess up. And the whole idea of all image and no sound is all there is in music today. This episode was back in 1995, long before computers and machines could completely fix everything.

Very well done!
