A bit schmaltzy but also very sweet and enjoyable.

The story begins at some fancy girls residential school. The teens are all planning on leaving for a vacation but one of them learns that her parents won't be there for several more days and the teacher who has agreed to stay with her until then is one she hates. After all, this teacher has just allowed her to fail her algebra class. So, the girl cooks up a cruel trick to play on the lady...but by the time it's unleashed, the girl begins to have second thoughts since the teacher really is a sweet old spinster. What's next? Well, I could say more but it might spoil the sweet ending. Very heartwarming and well written.

The teacher and the student.

Strong story and strong performances for this outstanding episode. A teacher in feud with one of her students has to share a holiday with this student. Between comedy and drama whilst not being any of one or the other, you are "taken away" by this compelling tale, so beautiful, so cute and sensitive. A cute and gentle little story that may to think about the treasures and surprise that the human kind can from to time reserve. And there is no love story here, I mean the kind of classical one you are used to. Don Medford - the director - did here a brilliant job for one of his earliest stuff in the TV industry. But that's not the kind of stories I could see all the time. Especially for females audiences.
