Max seems prepared for any type of attempted killing
FlushingCaps29 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Max is seated at an outdoor table of a restaurant when a limousine pulls up with another car also stopping and some men get out in an apparent kidnapping. Despite a violent fight breaking out all around him, Max is oblivious to the scene at first, but then he rescues the woman from the limo, who is a rich woman named Tracy Dunhill. She takes off, but later shows up at Max's, wearing a fur coat, dragging a second one. When he asks her about always having two fur coats, she replies that "One is for wearing, the other for dragging."

Tracy works for KAOS and her next target to kill is Max, who apparently killed her own father a year ago at the stroke of midnight. She plans to get revenge on Max at the same time. She invites him to her place for a party. Max says "What time?" She says it doesn't matter-the party has been going on for two months.

At her place, she confers with an associate played by Larry D. Mann. Mann is stout and bald and was a guest in most comedy shows of the 1960s including three roles in three episodes of Hogan's Heroes, 3 more on Green Acres and 5 roles on Bewitched. Many of his 191 credits were as bad guys in dramatic shows. She tells Mann, and us viewers, exactly how she plans to kill Smart-kissing him with poison lipstick at the stroke of midnight.

Max goes to the party hoping to learn about her connections to KAOS. Agent 13 is stationed inside a couch, and appears to be quite drunk in his scene. After a couple of minutes, the cushion at the other end of the couch (Max is sitting in the middle) opens up and we see that 13 is sharing the couch with a female. He explains that it is Agent 93, as the Chief let him bring a date to this assignment-even though he's hiding inside a couch all night.

The Chief and 99 crash the party to try to help. 99 shows the Chief how to do the modern dances. Max foils Tracy's plans in the end, even though she kills two people (one just to test her poison) and her KAOS career is over.

It was really one of the simplest episodes in the series, but fairly funny along the way. I think a 7 is the best I can give it.
