Gideon learns from a dying woman that businessman John Borgman is guilty of killing his wife. When a clerk working at Borgman's office is accused of fraud, Gideon has an opportunity to investigate him.
Wow, this is one complex story, so many plot twists, so many twists, considering this is just about fifty minutes long, there is so much here, it could easily have been a mess, but it's cohesive and very neat.
The opening sequences are well staged, and definitely get your attention.
I think this was my favourite episode so far, I really did enjoy the complexity of the storyline.
John Borgman is as smooth as silk, but nasty and smarmy, you can imagine Gideon would have loved to put him away.
A nicely assembled cast including Glyn Houston and Patsy Smart, I thought Walter Brown was excellent as the villainous Borgman.
Excellent, 9/10.
