Final appearance for Dap Sugar Willie as Looting Lenny
kevinolzak26 December 2016
"Florida's Favorite Passenger" concludes with Larry Baker (Derek Wells) and his mother (Bebe Drake-Hooks) agreeing to have Florida take the boy to the hospital for a hearing check up. In the waiting room we get our final look at Looting Lenny (Dap Sugar Willie, last of seven), sporting his usual attire: "my name is Lenny and if you can't get it here then there can't be that many, now I got some cough drops and potions and cups of hot toddy, I'm not ear, nose or throat but I can fix your whole body, I got a hot water bottle if you want it you can take it, or a whole set of bedpans just in case you can't make it!" After encountering the indomitable Florida he decides to take his stuff over to the Red Cross! A simple operation is the solution, but worse than the expense for Mrs. Baker is the fact that her son is convinced that she doesn't love him. With six children she pleads her case to Florida, resulting in a warm embrace between mother and son, and a happy conclusion following his operation. Present in part one JJ is absent from this one, though we learn that his comic book hero was turned down.
