I really liked this episode. I love themed episodes, especially Thanksgiving episodes. I love seeing new members of everyone's families.

In this episode, it's Thanksgiving and everyone is meant to be coming to Meredith's house, although nothing goes planned as perfect. Meredith escapes to the hospital, where she finds working more calming than being in the nightmare house. George's brothers and Father come and make him go on their Thanksgiving tradition, hunting. George shoots a turkey, just so he can leave. And afterwards, someone accidentally shoots his Dad, so George gets to show his family that he's not what they think he is. Izzie is cooking dinner, and with the help of Dr. Burke, tries to learn how to cook a turkey.

Best part of the episode: When George goes hunting.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.

This Episode begins with Izzie, she is preparing herself for Thanksgiving. Meredith is going to work today. Preston helps Izzie with cooking for Thanksgiving. George goes hunting with his family for Thanksgiving. Holden woke up after he was in a coma for a long time. George shot a turkey to death in the woods. Holden chose to have surgery, but there a several risks. George tells his dad that he performed a open heart surgery, like a real surgeon. Holden died in surgery. Amazing Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 2, really emotional ending with the death of Holden! Meredith had a really emotional connection with him!

A great episode. I love it when we see them outside the hospital. And getting to know the O'Malleys. They're charming.

I think it's a little strange that they get a pasient in the morning (around 10-10.30) that had tried to deep fry a turkey, and got himself drunk first. Isn't that a little early?

It's so fun seeing Burke cooking and socializing. Him and Izzie are cute together.

It is our first thanksgiving episode so it is viral episode and "classic greys'" but this episode is very boring. George's brothers are rude and annoying. I'm rewatching this episode for the 10th or 11th time and it's just not good. It's sad about the father who woke up after 16 years to see his family moved on. That ties in with Meredith being abandoned by Derek which makes sense and is very sad. Meredith and Derek working together is nice and sweet but everything going on at the house is boring. I like what izzie tried to do with bringing everyone together, and maybe it looked better on paper but it just doesn't play well on the screen. This is a balloon episode so it is okay to missed because it doesn't move the story along. Only thing we learn in this episode to move us along is that Bailey is pregnant.
