Happy Graffiti

This episode is probably the one that's the most similar to the movie that inspired the series, that movie being American Graffiti. It has a little bit of a harder edge to it and has the feel of the movie more than most of the other episodes. And there's a big car race just like in the movie. It's not as good as the movie of course, but it does have a similar feel and somewhat similar events. So it's interesting from that standpoint.

The oldest girl on the Brady Bunch (Maureen McCormick) plays a tease who jerks them around and tries to instigate trouble between Richie, Ralph, Potsie and three tough guys in another part of town. She's really a jerk and a creep. Some good acting by her, but it's unpleasant to watch the oldest Brady Bunch girl play a total creep. That's my least favorite part of the episode.

This is not one of my favorite episodes, but it's watchable. I gave it a "6" or for a letter grade "C-".

Dumbest Episode of the Series

Never liked the character of Bag and this episode proves it. Richie and the gang were dumb to make a bet, with an annoying filler character. Hate watching this episode, though it has Michael Lembeck in it. His Kaptain Kool character is compared to Fonzie. He and Henry Winkler sharing the screen, is the only good part of this episode. Other than that, I find the plot an embarrassment to watch.
