Malcolm is deaf and without speech, he's out birdwatching and witnesses a murder, all manner of complications arise when the killer spots him.
It's a very sad episode, Malcolm appears such a likeable chap, so to see him in danger is unpleasant. Your sympathies are very much with Malcolm, who seems in such a perilous situation.
It's great to see Hetty and Geoffrey building up their relationship, but more so great to see The Wainthropp Detective Agency fully up and running.
The killer is a nasty piece of work, such a shame they couldn't convict him. The ending is sweet though.
Ray Ashcroft does a good job as Steve, but it's well acted all round.
What took you so long? 8/10.
