Here's a bizarre look at "running from one identity to another, and vice versa" with a smokin' hot Joan Severance (in "dual" roles) as a fading Hollywood starlet just wanting to escape the machine behind her popularity and a vindictive white trash blond beauty wanting out of her supposed loser existence for greener pastures (emphasis on green). Murder enters the picture in both cases. Dual personality syndrome and running from your current life to another through impulsive (and homicidal) means without thinking things through are at play in this episode of The Hitchhiker. Joan's a looker, but I found her performance(s) rather variable, sometimes even a bit painful. Still the twist is a doozy! How the "two" Joans come in contact, and the impending results of "bumping one off to replace her" certainly took me by surprise. As does Holly (blond Joan) leaving behind a crime scene for Jane (actress Joan) to discover when taking the place of Holly. This is a wild one, folks!
