This had many interesting facets

This was funny, beginning to end. The scenes with LeBeau by themselves would merit this an 8-star rating. The repartee between Hogan and Klink bargaining for Hogan's antique consultant "fee" is some of the best writing in the entire series. Add Schultz and Burkhalter during the climax, and this episode easily makes the Top 20.

This episode seemed dull compared to others.

In this episode Hogan has some information that needs to be passed on to the French underground concerning an Allied invasion. However the Germans have knocked out the underground connections in the area and it will be impossible to send messages via contacts. Hogan has to think of a way to get the information into France.

Klink has just purchased a tourist cuckoo clock but Hogan tells him that the clock is an rare antique and offers Klink one hundred dollars for the clock. Klink, who only paid about ten dollars for the clock, tells Hogan that he can get his hands on some more of the rare clocks. He will then send a clock to antique dealers around western Europe to get the clock appraised. Hogan now has a way to get info out of the camp.

There is not much to this story that was a cause for interest. The script seemed dull compared to others as the only funny scenes involved Burkhalter hearing a ticking sound coming from the guest room. This is one of those times that the script was in need of some help.
