Interesting Plot with good laughs

An interesting episode with a good plot and a good amount of laughs. Yes, some people actually expect a sitcom to have realistic scenarios, but in truth IT'S THE LAUGHS! I don't write a lot of reviews (unlike some, I have a life), but sometimes feel compelled to remind folks that these shows are comedies - not docu-dramas.

Hogan et al. Provide consistent entertainment and this one fills the bill well.

What The Hey!

I actually enjoyed this episode. It possibly has the worse plotline in this series so far. It was illogical from nearly the first scene and grew even more so as it progressed. Its many giggles were liberally peppered with large doses of 'What the Heck'. And Bob Crane once again demonstrates one of the benefits of being the lead star. Rarely does he miss the opportunity of a smooching session with a beautiful guest star, and this episode is certainly no exception. All-in-all, I found this episode to be entertaining and gave it seven stars.

This script was very unfortunate for writer and viewer.

I do realize that after four season that it gets difficult to write scripts for a sitcom that is basically stationed at one point. Plus we know that we are going to sometimes have to bear with similar scripts that we hope contain enough laughs that we forget that the episode had the same plot a few weeks ago. But in this episode the writer came up with something totally different. However silly and uninteresting the script is we have to give the writer a high-five for trying. But this concept should have been rethought.

In this episode we have a gas pump assembled right outside of camp so that convoys of gas trucks can fill up on their way toward the front lines.-- (yes, I know it is hard to believe)-- And you can already guess that Hogan has to find a way to destroy the convoy and the gas pump.

Since the gas is located at the prison camp, Hogan has to develop a plan where he does not blow-up the camp injuring or killing the prisoners. And without giving away how Hogan accomplishes the task of the convoy and pump, all I can say is that it was very unfortunate for the writer and viewer.

All sitcom eventually has a clunker of an episode. And since the series really has not had a poor offering since its debut, it was overdue. Of all the episodes I have seen, this is unfortunate even to rate.
