"I'll pretend to be your friend in front of Alf but only for his sake"
skteosk12 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
With most of the Fletchers present(only Sally is missing in action), there's an opportunity to focus on Lynn's misapprehension over her parents.Carly and Steven's attempt to help out does make things worse, although that doesn't stop Bobby calling them on it coming across as irritating.Lynn's refusal to discuss things is also hard to sympathise with.

Roo returns to Summer Bay as the character displays a fair amount of ambiguity. She does actually seem to be trying to do the right thing by making sure her baby will be looked after(although it has to be said the use of "operation" as a euphemism for abortion is getting pretty irritating by this point)and there is genuine affection between her and Alf but her manipulation of Frank and the brief confrontation with Ailsa when they both drop the act show she's still no angel.Alf getting Brett's name one, apparently deliberately, is a great moment.

Donald being all businesslike with Bobby's class in the face of sarcasm (and Bobby arm wrestling a male student!)is classic Fisher and the subsequent uncomfortable scene between him and Bertram could prove very significant...
