Billy is busy dating Doreen Nesbitt, the pair are clearly loved up, but Auntie is keen to meet her, tea is arranged. Doreen presents as sweet, innocent and naive, but nothing could be further from the truth.
My favourite episode from the second series so far, this was sweet and charming, tea with Auntie was definitely a fun moment, and we all sat waiting for the photo album to come out.
Doreen was definitely a progressive thinker for the 1920's, and she's one of the first people to pull the wool over Auntie's eyes.
I could have sworn that Sherrie Hewson became a regular on the show, maybe she changes her mind, I thought Hewson was excellent here, a really sweet, a very memorable performance from her.
8/10.
