Guy Rolfe is having a ball as the mysterious Mr George. He burns a warehouse in Germany. He makes demands of $280,000 from an insurance company in London or else there would be more fires started.
The insurance company pays up. The British police think they will catch Mr George when he picks the money up.
No chance. Mr George is too smart and Inspector Duval knew this.
Duval second guesses Mr George. That he will go to a non Interpol country to convert the marked notes by depositing them in various bank accounts.
Indeed Mr George goes to Iceland with a female accomplish. However courtesy of Duval who circulated the numbers of the marked bills to all banks.
Mr George now has to go to shady money exchange men in Tangiers. In turn he will now have to pay a huge commission.
This allows Duval to smoke out his prey and he will use a boy that Mr George himself used at the money pick up.
This was wonderfully done adventure in such a short time. It was a battle of cunning and ingenuity between a master criminal and a master cop.
It seems Duval made the other cops looks just a bit too dim.
