Jack's 1961 Xmas show, featuring many of his regulars, all doing their thing. A highlight is when Jack goes into the audience, where he runs into a sneaky old lady selling jam and his nemesis Frank Nelson who gives Jack a hard time. Then there's the visit with voice impresario Mel Blanc. It's a hoot even though Mel's in a wheelchair following a bad auto accident. Fortunately, he made a full recovery. Jack's in fine form, supposedly throwing a Xmas party behind the curtain for the TV crew. And what do you suppose is inside his gift packages. The holiday show's topped off by Dennis Day's soothing version of a popular Xmas carol. All in all, it's a humorously appropriate show for the season. Just don't look for the usual celebrity guests.
