Not bad, just a bit forgettable.

The impressive and well respected Inspector Fell is photographed in a very compromising situation by a journalist, unfortunately here car, which contains her camera, is stolen.

This is one of those episodes that is definitely a mix of good and bad. The scenario itself has plenty of intriguing moments, the thought of The Journalist catching Fell in the act was great, and that whole scenario of the revenge was clever, it just got a little lost in its own cleverness.

I'm not sure how I felt about Adam Klaus ending up on the crucifix, I'm definitely not religious, but I found that a little tasteless.

Ade Edmondson's final episode as Brendan, and I'm not sure he was well served here.

Interestingly, it's been many years since we had a new episode, seven at the time of writing this, only this month Alan Davies has said he'd be happy to return, let's hope someone takes notice, I'd love to see Jonathan back.

McFarlane was the best thing about this one for me, really good actor, managed to inject a little something into a pretty average episode.

6/10.

A very disappointing episode

Warning: Spoilers
The fourth season of Jonathan Creek is a distinct step down in quality from Series 1-3, and this episode is a classic example. A decent central story is constantly distracted by pointless side-gags, culminating in the totally unbelievable idea that trained paramedics could take a wax dummy to hospital whilst leaving the real patient lying on the road.
