Michael Knight is out on the road again, on a mission to find Devon's former flame, however he soon finds out she had been killed due to a missile attack. A routine episode bolstered by some humour featuring a pair of bikers and a killer sequence where Kitt goes up again an attack helicopter. What I also like is the lone highways, and that sense of isolation, which adds some tension to the tale.

Pete, is that you?

Freelancer Michael Knight investigates a case for Devon, the director of the foundation, in Phoenix, where he runs into Dana Elcar who would eventually become the director of the Phoenix foundation in charge of a freelancer. Coincidence?! I think not!

This mission is personal, for Devon Miles. A woman who he was once close to has gone missing. Her daughter Canela turns up at the Knight Foundation asking for help.
Michael goes straight into action but he has a rough motorcycle gang to deal with. The type of comedic Hells Angels types that Clint Eastwood had to deal with in those Any Which Way You Can type movies. I think KITT took the place of Clyde the Orangutan.
Michael stumbles into a crooked politician and some stolen missiles. KITT has to take on a combat helicopter and manages to jump over one.
