This show was never that far removed from a Western to begin with, so sending Michael out to a frontier town seems right. Plus, saving a bunch of at-risk teens is very much in FLAG's wheelhouse. It makes the no-good cowboys all the more vile for wanting to sabotage a socially-conscious ranch.

I guess what I'm saying is that this goes a long way in smoothing over the image of Hasselhoff wrangling a mechanical bull, Travolta style. But he still comes off unscathed, largely due to his eagerness to help the downtrodden.

I like 'The Rotten Apples' because it (crystal_ clearly defines the sides of good and bad and Michael's right there to even the odds. That's classic Knight Rider.

Not a bad concept for an episode but I had a few problems, first of all Michael was more dramatic than usual, the acting was a weird exaggerated stereotypical, and one of the "troubled teens" looked to be about 30.
