Really good to see DC Davies (Peter Davison, who was excellent in A Very Peculiar Practice) toughen up when he was the victim of an awful practical joke at the hospital, set up by his cop colleagues. He also toughens up when he wants to take his St Bernard for a walk, with his wife Julie Davies (Emma Amos) reluctant to allow this.
