The Ranger and Tonto capture outlaw Bad-Eye Dixon. In Bad-Eye's pocket is a letter from Dick Sundell, another outlaw, telling him to come to Arbuckle because it is controlled by outlaw boss Case Gordon. Our heroes head for Arbuckle and outside of town they meet Susan Starr, a six gun wearing lady whose father ran the newspaper before being murdered by Gordon. They also enlist Doc Grayson to help convince Gordon that a man murdered by his outlaws is still alive and will testify against them. The Ranger dons a disguise as a gunslinger called Clete. He approaches Gordon, claiming to be a friend of Bad-Eye's and asking for a job. The plan appears to be working. Then, Bad-Eye shows up, having broken out of jail. Now the tables may be turned on the good guys. Nan Leslie plays Susan Starr, making one of her eight appearances on The Lone Ranger show. Nan looks really good in her western shirt, jeans, cowboy hat, and wearing her six gun. This is another excellent season 4 episode.
