Tonto wounds the Calico Kid as he and his gang commit a robbery. The Kid and his two partners, separate, but the money stays with Calico. A weakened Kid gets help from Mama Angel at her ranch. She has two adopted children, Manuelo and Easter. Manuelo idolizes the Calico Kid and wants to be just like him. Mama Angel sends the pursuing Ranger and Tonto away from her ranch, as she wants to reform the young outlaw herself, even though he seems totally bad. The Ranger returns to the ranch disguised as a harmless old saddle tramp. The Ranger points out to Calico how harmful it is for him to lead Manuelo down the wrong trail. But is he getting through to the young outlaw? Then, Calico's two partners show up and they want all the money. What will Calico do? Florence Lake plays Mama Angel. She made three appearances on the color episodes of The Lone Ranger. Florence was a highly underrated actress and is always worth watching.
