Stagecoach Sabotage
hogwrassler28 February 2021
Nell Martin has inherited her late brother's Lone Star Stage Line. On her trip to town, her stagecoach is sabotaged and she is saved from a bad accident by The Ranger and Tonto. Her driver, Whip, and shotgun guard Hank, believe that rival stage operator Sam Blake, owner of The Texas Ranger Stage Line, is responsible. A suspicious fire in the Lone Star's stable leads The Ranger to suspect Nell's line manager, Lem Bixby, is the true culprit. But Bixby has two henchmen and they are a dangerous bunch. How to prove Bixby is guilty and capture him and his henchmen? Early in the episode, that's Terry Wilson playing Hank and driving Nell's coach. Four years later he got the role of Bill Hawks on the classic western series, "Wagon Train." Harry Harvey is Sam Blake. He played Sheriff Tom Blodgett in numerous episodes of The Roy Rogers Show. John Damler plays villain Lem Bixby in the fourth of his five LR appearances. John greatly resembled Raymond Massey and his voice sounds exactly like Massey. Damler may have been a lot shorter than Massey but he sure looked and sounded like him. A very good John Hart as The Ranger episode.
