Makes you wonder why they didn't do a TV-news themed episode much earlier in the show's run. Watching this one not long ago, I couldn't help but think of the televised coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial in 1995. Some things really haven't changed! This was a very action-oriented script...with the kidnapping and rescue occurring during the first twenty minutes. Then, we get to the trial of the kidnappers and how the print journalists compete with TV reporters for the story. I liked how Billie was subpoenaed to appear as a witness for the defense. And seeing her tangle with Lou about the way he edited her story was great.
