Don't miss the final scene

Warning: Spoilers
Peter Hobbs is fantastic as an embattled reporter on the cop beat who has more than one meltdown. His arguing with Rossi, his anger at Lou and his inability to connect with his wife and daughter at the hospital where he's been taken after a suicide attempt make for riveting television. But of course, there's a deeper issue and that's what happens when a good man goes through extreme burn-out on the job and becomes a victim of his own efficiency and success. There are also a few tantrums from Charlie in this episode, upset that Mrs. Pynchon may be passing him over for a promotion. In fact, this is probably one of Mason Adams' best performances in the series. The final scene is not to be missed.
