Herman, We Bare-ly Knew Ye!
ccthemovieman-15 January 2008
Peer pressure can be brutal on kids, even Eddie Munster. Thanks to a school friend who has a bad attitude - or is going through an adolescent phase - Eddie is talked into not trusting his parents and thinking he should run away from home. He really has no reason to; he likes his parents, but his buddy puts evil thoughts in his head and so Eddie decides to split.

Herman decides to play "psychologist" and goes along with the plan, giving Eddie his blessings and bidding him goodbye. "Good luck to you; you have our zip code number, so don't forget to write."

Eddie leaves, finds out the other kid was only bluffing, and goes somewhere on his own. Meanwhile, in the town park, a bear and her cub escape from the local circus.

The fun starts when Lily and the rest of the Munster household demand Herman go out and find the missing Eddie. Herman - don't ask how this is possible - thinks the baby cub snoring away in the park's cave is Eddie!

The funniest parts involve Herman and the cub's mother, a grown bear. The confrontation between the two "grown" animal and human is anything but what you think might happen, and very funny to watch.
