Warning: Spoilers
This is the third episode of the extremely eccentric series "Murder Most Horrid". This time, Dawn French plays an once-famous theater and TV actress whose best days are behind her. She is getting prepared for one more live theater performance, even though the audience is limited to a "foreign chummy", and a bunch of clueless cops on a "training" program. And then another actor, who is rude and obnoxious to everyone, gets shot for real in the middle of the play. Once again, you must be prepared for the fact that this series is unlike anything you've probably seen before: a prominent poster of the Marx Brothers' "Duck Soup" is a clue as to this program's intentions, except I think this is even crazier! Funniest scene is either the realization that the corpse on stage is real, or the killer's suicide attempt at the end ("I think I sprained me ankle"!). *** out of 4.
