Physical glamour doesn't always require brains.

No shirt. No shoes. No brains. No service. So Phil tells the returning Miller Renfield when he comes back temporarily to take over the broadcast while the staff is on strike. Miller, Miles and Eugene Kinsella are assigned to do the broadcast and of course it is a disaster when Miller is fired on the air. Murphy has to look into her conscious when Miles needs help, and it's obvious that the network will realize that they need anchors who know how to report the news and get the job done regardless of union demands. Miles keeps running up and down the stairs from the newsroom to Phil's, and the other staff members are upset until they realize what Murphy is up to. Good guest appearances by Chris Rich and Alan Oppenheimer, along with intelligent writing, gives good insight into the goings on of the business of television behind the scenes when things do not go as planned.
