Pumaman

Saw this on movie theatre 3000. It was low budget but was so funny with dodgy camera shots and tom and crooooows humour making it a laugh a minute.

Not sure if it was meant to be taken seriously but I needed a good laugh and would watch it again. Without the added humour it would be less funny from not having the aside comments.

My favorite MST3K
boydkc112 May 2006
This has to be my favorite MST3K ever. For the longest time the only two I ever saw was Invasion of the Neptune Men and Overdrawn at the Memory Banks. Then this horrible example of 1980s cinema hit my TV and I had never laughed so hard. Personal firetrucks, villains breaking the laws of physics, Pumaman "flying", the gold Mike Tyson mask, and of course the great Aztec onion/shaman Vadinho, the real hero of the movie. I still find this episode among the funniest along with Cave Dwellers, Space Mutiny, Final Sacrifice, and a few others. The movie itself was so horribly done one has to wonder why it was made in the first place. 1/10 for the movie 10/10 for the MST3K episode. Also this movie contains the only use Donald Pleasance had for the word comb. Check it out.

Flying Low and High
hellraiser77 June 2016
This is my favorite episode of MST, there is just not one dull moment. Basically the film is a "Superman" rip off and oh boy what a rip it truly is.

One thing that surprised me is the fact that Donald Plesence is in this film, seeing him made me think what the hell is he doing in this piece of .... But that's a common thing in the mile long records of most actors and actresses, it's their job what are you going to do. But seeing him in this lame superhero film I can't help but think how cool it would of been if Donald was cast to play the super villain Brainiac if they ever made another good Superman movie sequel, what a shame.

But anyway there are a lot of hilarious moments, from seeing the mentor pin Puma Man down and the MST crew react thinking this is some sort of well you know moment. Seeing the flying sequence and Crow singing my favorite quote, yeah Crow I agree he flies like a moron; the flying sequence is just terrible as you can tell it's the background moving and he's on strings which are clearly imbalanced. But my favorite moment in that elevator lift and one of the character make a noise which reflect how unthrilling a ride up top it is, honestly the guy couldn't just construct stairs is it really that far up.

This episode flies high.
