Warning don't read unless seen film.
This isn't a favorite of mine, but it's a good one. This film was an odd mix of both your typical suspense thriller and a nature attacks horror film, unfortunately this smoothie didn't come out all tasty. There are killer bees, but they only fly in occasionally, and when they do it's an unconvincing photographic overlapping effect as well as a lot of other bee stock footage. The pop singer protagonist is uninteresting and not the sharpest tool in the shed as she's a tad too trusting; but also seems out of place throughout the film as if she belongs in a different movie.
There are some good riffs, one of them from Crow during a chase sequence hearing crow say "everything in this film is wrong: indeed, it is Crow. There are also some good skits, one of my favorites from Peril, Observer, and Bobo is Observer engaged in a Scanners like battle with two others of his species. The way he and his sort of friends win just cracks me up because of how stupidly simple it was.
But also just the final minutes where in the film we have some really weird happy music and then some random guy with a bowler just shows up out of nowhere, walking as the movie ends. This becomes a running joke as this guy then walks by the Satellite of Love and Peril's Evil Castle, really like their reactions which is the same as mine and I remember thinking the same think as them "what the frak, was that about?" That is one unsolved mystery that will remain unsolved and probably for the best.
This episode stings with fun.
