Swingin' Sam and Nanny
JordanThomasHall9 June 2017
Professor Roger Samuelson, a.k.a "Swingin' Sam" (game show host Bert Convy) is new to the university, and so are his views. The psychologist is teaching "the art of relationships" with all of his classes booked, and mostly by girls (including a young Cindy Williams). Nanny (Juliet Mills) has enrolled in the course, as well. When her car won't start, Prof. Samuelson drives her home and comes on strong in his advances. She maneuvers around this, but enjoys his company and the two begin dating. Professor Everett (Richard Long) becomes increasingly jealous.

A swinging new professor
mlbroberts16 January 2021
When a new professor known as "Swinging Sam" (Bert Convy) starts teaching "The Art of Relationships" at the college, he starts dating Nanny (Juliet Mills). Part of the fun of this episode is the near-frantic jealousy that appears in the Professor's (Richard Long) eyes. Of course, Swinging Sam is more complicated than he seems, and it takes Nanny to figure him out and straighten him out, calmly, as usual.

Notable in that this is the only episode of N&P that had no laugh track. It was hard to realize because the series' laugh track was never loud or intrusive. The humor was subtle and so was the laugh track.
