When it turns out that the horse, Storm, is past his best, Nellie decides it's time to clear our the dead wood, including Storm, and Stan.
This has been a funny, but short second series, just five episodes long, this wasn't s favourite of mine, but it was a decent end to the series.
Joe Gladwin is a treat here as Stan, larger than life, and funny. Sometimes he and Grenville can be a little over the top.
The main talking point here is of course the appearance of Carry on Legend Peter Butterworth as The Mayor, he arrives to a rapturous applause, and of course he's great here.
Not a classic, but good, 6/10.
