This episode once again showcases the differences between the people of Cicily and yet the total acceptance they have for one another.
Ed questions Joel in his endearing naive Ed way and Joel answers so kindly.
The ending was superb and brought me to tears. Each person was invited to pray/ honor someone they had lost. The scene shows the community praying in their varied and personal ways. What a perfect example the writers give the audience of a situation where people can come together to support each other, each in his own way.
I remember watching this show when it was new and have searched for it for a while. It was such a pleasure to see it appear again. It has not lost a bit of its charm!!
